Question about Whirlpool LTE6234D Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer
Where is the lint filter located and how does one clean it?
I have a regular top loader and the lint filter is on the underside of the inner tub. You have to remove the inner tub to get to it. You might be able to find a service manual explaining this at appliancejunk.com.

Most older washing machines had lint filters or screens in the tub usually near the top, where the water level reached - so that lint could "float in", same concept as a skimmer in a swimming pool. They rarely have them anymore - mine doesn't and it was purchased 16 yrs ago.

At least I think I can. I just bought a 2 year old washer/dryer (never had one before), and I've always found the "lint box" for the dryer either on top of the maching, or inside the door, and these machines it's in the back wall of the dryer, wow was mine full by the time I found it.

Hi Viral, The lint filter is in the door. It should just lift out. Or cut & paste this link for instruction manual for your machines. http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%203406876.pdf Regards

I am using agitator washing machine, The lint filter is not on the door.
I dont care, where it is, just tell me how to clean it. My clothes are getting ruinned by lint getting stuck to it.
There is no lint filter that you can manually remove?
There must be something inside the machine that you can clean as
this problem with lint only occurred when the machine has been in use
for about 2 years.

I don't use the tumble drier - I live in California. Why is this thin twin putting lint all over my clothes? It is driving me insane having to try to get ingrained lint off the tshirts...
Where is the filter for the washer????????
the clothes come out of the washer still wet BUT it does spin...is there a filter/trap that collects or can be blocking the water from draining properly?
