Press F2 or Del on boot up and see if your drive is listed, if not you may have set the jumper incorrectly on the back of the cdrom drive, if it is shared with the same cable as your hard drive then it should be set as slave, if it's on it's own cable from the motherboard then set it as master. Lastly when in the bios you need to set the cdrom drive as first boot device and when the screen pops up you press enter to boot from cd, so as to install the operating system, if you don't then the pc will look at your hardrive to boot from, finding nothing there.

I have a vauxhall vectra 52plate 2.2 petrol the back box has fallen off, do I need to place the whole system?

I would not think so no.
You should be able to buy just a back box, if that is all that you need.

The deciding factor is the condition of the rest of the exhaust. And what you are able / willing to pay
If the whole thing looks ready for replacement then there is your answer.

Also - dependent upon model, and who is fitting the exhaust - Vauxhall dealers can often be competitive on pricing if you fit it yourself. And usually original parts will fit better and last longer than one bought from a 'generalised' exhaust fitting centre.

However if you want the exhaust fitted for you, then bare in mind that dealer labour charges are much more expensive than an exhaust fitting centre.

I installed a sata dvd drive in my dc5100 sff the boot order recognises it as an ide drive

i dont think it matter if your system detects it as sata or ide, both interface will work in installing OS, the important thing is you changed your boot order. originally it was supposed to boot in 1st drive whichever it is hard drive or dvd drive. go to bios then follow the instruction in how to move the order of boot sequence, mine is SHIFT key then PLUS.

Microphone not working on foxcomm ebot computer

U absolutely right...the problem is comes from driver also. First uninstall the drivers and reinstalll it with other drive(other than C:/). Also check the audio setting in right lower side of corner of your system, in which the audio properties the LINE IN mode is checked and the scroll bar of volume is full.
Thanks Good Luck

200 watt max. 19v DC power brick with a 4 pin plug, with two positive and two ground pins. The PSU is unique to the E-bot. I have not been able to find an exact match anywhere. Foxconn no longer sells the PSUs and will not help with tech support in any way. The PSU was originally produced by Fortron Source Power (FSP). When mine went bad, I had to buy a similar looking unit (but with only a 150 watt max rating), then I had to rewire the output cord, because the 4 pin plug had the positives and negatives switched around.

If you need a new power brick for the Ebot, I seriously hope you have the old original unit still. If you do, you can then simply buy any 19V laptop power brick that has acceptable power output (at least 120 watt) and then replace the power output cord with the original one from the Ebot's power supply (some soldering required). It's really the only way to replace the unit.

I need to replace my foxconn motherboard but do not now what model it id the mobo is dead so i can not run any software to find the answer to my problem

Open the case up and look at the model number printed on the motherboard. When you find the model number look it up on Foxconn's website and find the form factor and CPU socket. Once you have that information, go to,, or your computer hardware store of choice and find a model that matches or exceeds the specifications of your previous model. It doesn't really matter what brand you get, just as long as they are the same form factor (it has to fit in your case) and CPU socket.
