Trouble with usb

I have been plugging my phone into my computer for months and transfering data with no problems at all. All of a sudden, when ever I plug the usb lead into the phone it doesnt register. The little usb icon doesnt come up on the phones screen and the computer cant find the phone. Did I stuff with a setting or is there something major wrong with my phone?? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Niksta

This may not be any help, but I had the same problem with my MP3 player and it was the cable that was buggered. I bought a new one & all is good again. The old cable can still be used for charging, but not for data transfer. Don't know why.

How do I make my BLU vivo picture gallery visible on a windows computer so I can transfer pictures from phone to PC?

With a USB cable connected from phone to PC, Windows explorer should detect it as a 'Mass Storage Device'.
This should also show up in 'My Computer' as a virtual drive.
If not, you may need to first install BLU driver for your phone.
Once set up correctly, you can configure the device's 'Auto-Load' function to automatically download media from the phone when USB is plugged in.
Otherwise you can navigate via the 'My Computer' screen to explore files on the virtual drive.

Data transferring trouble

I think first you want to use the correct data cable for your phone. then you have to install the drivers for your phone in to your computer. Then only you can transfer files between computer and phone. You can download the drivers from the internet.

Im trying to transfer pictures from my computer onto my phone

You can try to install the CD that comes with your phone to your computer, then you can connect your phone using the usb cable provided. Then you can have an access to your phone's memory, this way you can transfer data to both ways. But, since LG systems have usually problems in this usb transfers (According to the most of the users, may depend from model to model also), you can simply transfer your pictures from your computer to your microSD card (your phone has an SD card, and you can plug that microSD in a card reader using a SD adapter), then you can plug your microSD card back in your phone, and then you'll have your pictures in your phone.

Bought 500Gb two months ago, greatproduct. My wife has put 4 months of college photography on the hardrive and has had no problems retrieving.Suddenly two nights ago stopped working, power light is on...

Plug it into a friend's computer (in the same cables as his main drive) (Turn the system off and pull the plug out first!) Tell us if it works there.

Data loss happens all the time for various reasons. That's why you need to learn how to use a CD burning program to transfer the pictures to CD's. If you don't want to burn often, get yourself a 16GB little flash drive at least.

USB Connection

Hi,
I fixed my problem of my HTC touch not Syncing with my phone thru the USB cable.
Go to
Start, Settings, System, Power, Advanced and select/enable the option that says "When device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connected to the PC."
If it still does not work at first then disconnect the USB from your PC/device, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in.
You'll suddenly see your phone and your PC syncing.
Hallelujah!
