No code appear after I scanned the barcode.. Please help!

If you look in the manual, you will see the code to place the scanner in to "stand" mode which should do as you request. This mode is restricted to certain models however. Near as I can tell, there are a few variants of the Z-3051HS model that support this. Reference the manual at the link below. Please update this with any other questions you may have.

If the scanner is connected through USB connection, the barcode should appear in the Notepad. If you use the Serial connection RS232, the Barcode data are showed than in Hyperterminal or other application, which is interpreting data from Serial Port.
Please scan the barcode from Product Guide according to your connection. And check the scanned data in an application - Notepad for Keyboard Wedge or USB, Hyperterminal for RS232.

This device needs no software. You first need to set it up with the configuration card (http://www.zebex.com/old_website/documents/quick_program_card/z-3000.3001.3010/Programming%20Card_U_090202.pdf). Then it should scan the barcode number in to the selected text area.

Disconnect the scanner from the mouse port or disconnect the mouse from the scanner. The scanner must be connected to the keyboard port and have a keyboard attached to the scanner.

Firstly you connect ps/2 scanner cable of ms5145 to computer.then connect keyboard to Scanner.You can open word and Scan any barcode it displays on screen

please get programing manual for Z-3080 then

probably your problem wiil be solved.

Why you need to know from which it is comming? As a wedge is 2 inputs is merged as 1 output. There is no way to tell unless you use special coding in the BArcode that cannot be manually keyin. If I know your need maybe there is a altermnate way to do it.

I seldom do this ...but I will comment on the Zebex scanner. This is ...errr ... not the best choice for future scanner needs. I will never forget commercial Zebex experience. They should have stuck to anti freeze (just kidding).

However if it did work and now doesn't there is one problem that is so obvious no one thinks of it ... check the clear plastic protector on teh front and see if it need cleaned. Greasy environments usually fog it over time.

I have the Zebex default codes somewhere in the shop ... but you can replace that scanner with a nice PSC, Mot, or Intermec for about 120.00 why not do that?

There is more than one way for that imager to send data to the computer. Are you using USB, serial, or is there a little box that goes between your existing keyboard and the PC that accepts the scanner connector?
