I have two Casa Vieja Probe ceiling fans in my home and had the same question. On mine there is a sliding forward/reverse switch on the top half of the housing, above the blades.

Look on the side of the canopy there should be a slide switch. if moving this switch has no effect, then either the switch is faulty or the connections to it may have fallen off.

I have a bosch jigsaw and the blade keeps slipping out of the roller blade guide after it runs normal for a few seconds. ive reset the blade and changed it.

Hi Rebecca, I hope this helps;
BLADE INSTALLATION
Set the blade orbit selector lever to position III.
Push blade change button downward as far as
it will go and turn the top handle three turns
counterclockwise (viewed from the top of the
tool).
Insert the blade into blade plunger at a 90°
angle to the cutting direction. With a slight
upward pressure, turn the blade teeth forward
(direction of cut) and guide the back of the
blade into the groove in the center of blade
roller guide. Pull gently down on the blade to
seat the blade tabs in the plunger.
With the blade in the proper position, turn top
handle clockwise until a noticeable "Click" sound
is heard, indicating that the blade is locked in
place.
Push blade change button upward to its
original position (flush with the top of the top
handle), and the saw is ready for use.
Removing the blade is essentially the reverse
of the installation procedure, however, take
note that once the blade change button is
loosened, gently push the blade upward to
release the blade tabs from the plunger.

How to change blade

If there is a button (most circular saws have a button of locking handle) loosen the blade with an allen key in the same direction as the working direction of the blade.
BUT if there is no locking facility some screwdriver a bench vise on the blade (beware not on beside the sawteeth.
or block the sawteeth with a little screwdriver against the base to lock the movement.

How to change blade on skilsaw 5380

on a circular saw
pull the power lead from the plug
using a screw driver , place the blade between the teeth and turn until the screw driver is jammed under the plate
use a ring spanner and undo the nut that holds the blade on
pull the blade out and fit the new blade with the direction arrow in the right direction
replace the plate and the bolt do the bolt up tight
rotation will tighten it up
some blades have a hole in the blade in which to insert the screw driver to hold the blade , or a lock lever behind the cover to hold the armature shaft while changing the blade

MAKITA DROPSAW MODEL 2400B HOW DO I CHANGE THE BLADE

There is a push-in lever located between the handle and saw blade.
Push in lever and rotate blade until blade locks.
Once blade is locked, loosen nut located in center of blade.'
Before removing blade, notice direction of teeth.
Install new blade with teeth going same direction.
