Game disc doesnt go in

I try putting my game in and it wont go in it keeps making some wierd snapping noise i checked it if it had a game in it but nothing would happen

    Our baby put cards into the slot and now we can't get games to go in. I got one card out but think there might be more. Need help to get it open and working again. If have little children I suggest you to make sure you get the warrenty on it. We didn't so now we are sorry!!!! Can anyone help us with step by step instructions?

If it is under warranty send it back to sony and report a faulty blu-ray drive. Try to do a reset, and see if it works.

Make sure that you do not have the PS3 on it's side. Lay it flat. Insert a MOVIE DVD first and see if it will recognize the disc.
If you continue to hear a grinding sound when the ps3 is laying down that could only mean one thing, you need a replacement drive.

Dont forget to Always update your Playstation to the newest firmware.

My games wont play and it says open tray
You have dirty laser or bad laser or dirty disc drive period. Try cleaning laser with qtip. If that doesnt work keep the disc drive apart and hook it up to the 360 make sure not to let your disc drive ground out anywhere on the 360. Hit eject button and close tray seeing if the laser even goes up with the tray. If it doesnt try greasing the rails and gears in there where everything slides.

Sims Life Stories wont download HELP!
If still the CD Drive cannot read the Disc then you should another CD Drive if this game is still working or read. CD Games Disc cannot be easily damage or broke even you keep it in a long years.
Try another CD/DVD Drive to run the game or Use another Computer to see it is still work.

Blue risk game wont work
There a two lasers in a PS2 one reads DVDs and white game discs and the other reads CDs and blue game disc. Sounds like your blue one is broken I'm afraid

Game not working
okay, maybe the game is not compatible with the ps2, for eg if ur in europe they make the ps2's PAL compatible, if you're in USA they make em NTSC. other probs might be that clicking noise, doesnt sound too promising!! i dunno but dont get angry and smash the ps2 on the top, that wont help at all!! (like i did ^^)

Not loading game
the reason it makes the "grinding" noise is because the motor that moves the lens to read the disk is dieing, this generally happens when you have played your ps2 for a long time, this only happens to older consoles.
