Magic Chef, F-1 code?

f1 is the code for a failed clock most of the times you must replace the clock most of them have a five year warrenty check your owners manuel for warrenty info

check all wires to burner and switch. If they are good .....burner burnt out or switch no good.

unfortunately the model plate for these
was usually mounted on the the drop wall
or were paper on the inside right corner

SOURCE: Our magic chef cook top spontaneously began sizzling and burst into flames until the electrical fire tripped the circuit breaker. The stove knobs were all off. Has anyone had this problem?
