Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

Help :0 Someone please answer this, everytime i press the home home the gray screen pops up (thats not the proplem) but that white flashy thing always stays on no, it is frozen and so i have to take my battery ouy and then turn the psp back on. Everytime i want to go to the new connection place to get internet access my pad button takes it all that way to the end and i cant bring it back and i cant choss any letters because someting is wrong with it. I think my pad button on my Psp is stuck and my button is frozen. What should i do????

That is what is happening to me except it is in mid game and not on the home screen. I have to pull the battery out also and start playing again. You would think buying Sony and for the price it would work better, so is Sony now making second grade handheld game console.

Try adjusting the contrast and brightness settings when you scan. If the contrast is set wrong it will pick up the shade of the white paper.

It cant be viruses attact or system error. Try to reset your phone to factory setting (remove memory card before resetting):

switch off the phone, press 3 # and answer keys at once. now at the same time switch on the phone. keep pressing the keys until u see the text formatting written on the screen. reset code is 12345.

Hi, you may need to do a system restore with your windows CD or try pressing the ESC button during boot up and select start in safe mode, from here you can restore your operating system to a time before the problem started. Hope this helps

I Havee The Same Problem And Ive Been Reading Around And The Most Decent Answer I Found About What Was Wrong Was That Something Had Just Come Loose Inside So That Might Help Because Something Wiring Upo To The Screen Might Be Loose Its Worth A Shot.

it needs a good service .all that needs to be done is open the top cover, the main board , clean all the dust possible.there is a glass dlp , clean it with a soft cloth ( like the one used to clean specks).on refiiting the main board make sure to firmly press the 100 pin black connector on the dlp board engine.this is the cause of the vertical flashy line
once repacked start the unit.it should work fine!!!!

You can try to open it and clean the button area this is a guide to opening it http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/370436 that is the best physical solution i can think of if it is the button.
