The installation disk contains both the software and the driver. The software section is the fancy bits that you see working as the "Program" the functional bit is the "Driver" which operates the camera and is essential to have the "Program" function work as it should. On the download page select your country, then select DRIVER on the first box, your windows version etc.

if you are using the cd/dvd driver for read is no need to install the driver software. But for writing you have to install a software you can get while you bought the driver software .please install the software for writing. if you already install the software uninstall it reinsall again.bye
