My washer won't empty

I removed the pump and cleaned it out. It did have a rubberband stuck in it but when I replaced everything it did not work. What should I do now? Do I need to replace the pump or do I have another alternative. Thank you so much for your help.

I rotated the part that looks like a fan on the pump and I found that part of a rubber band was stuck. I don't think I got it all because it did not rotate freely. I will try again to see if I can get the rest. I can't take the fan part apart but I can try to rotate until something comes up. Thanks so much.

Does the pump spins ? Try to rotate pump's pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely (frozen or stiff), check for foreign object inside the pump. In case you will not find an object that prevent pump's spining, it should be replaced. Good luck!

Remove washing machine filter for cleaning: How do I remove the filter on my Bosch class iXX front load washing machine for cleaning? We can turn it 1/3 anticlockwise but it won't pull out.

Something must be jamming the filter. You will need to just keep working it. If you cannot get it to open, you will need to replace the whole assembly.

For Miele Dishwasher G2470SCVI Need help with remaining water in the bottom. Model# G2470 SCV1 SF Type-HG03. Runs through the entire cycle, long, short ect..everything is clean and dishes look great but

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Belt, Water Pump Although few dishwashers have a water pump belt, if the dishwasher won't drain there might be a worn or broken water pump belt. After removing the lower kick panel the motor can be seen in the front, the water pump belt is on the bottom of the motor.

Drain Pump If the dishwasher won't drain, the drain pump might be defective. Test the pump motor with an Ohm meter. Drain pumps are not repairable, if it's defective it will need to be replaced.

Drain Impeller The drain impeller is attached to the pump and pushes the water out of the dishwasher, through the drain tube and into the garbage disposer or drain line. If the dishwasher won't drain, the drain impeller might be broken or worn out. Replace both the impeller and seal at the same time.

Drain Solenoid Kit If the dishwasher won't drain, the drain solenoid kit might need to be replaced. The drain solenoid is an actuator that opens a flap to allow the water to drain.
Drain Valve The drain valve can get clogged with debris and should be cleaned out if the dishwasher won't drain. If it seems clear of debris but won't actuate, it will need to be replaced. The drain valve is not repairable.
Pump and Motor Assembly If the dishwasher won't drain, the pump and motor assembly might be defective. If the motor runs during the drain cycle, check for a blockage in the drain line. If the motor won't run during the drain cycle or if it just hums when it should be running, the pump and motor assembly might need to be replaced.

Clogged or Improperly Installed Garbage Disposer If the dishwasher won't drain and the garbage disposer was installed recently, the installer might have forgotten to knock out the drain plug from this disposer. All garbage disposers are sold with a solid plug in the drain tube for situations where a dishwasher isn't connected. However, if the dishwasher is connected, the plug will need to be removed. If the disposer wasn't replaced recently, remove the dishwasher drain hose from the disposer and clean out both the fitting on the disposer and the end of the drain hose. These are the most common places to find an obstruction if the dishwasher won't drain.

Drain Hose If the dishwasher won't drain the drain hose might be clogged. Remove the drain hose from both the dishwasher and the sink drain to clean it out. The most common place for an obstruction is at the garbage disposer.

Check Valve If the dishwasher won't drain the check valve might be stuck closed. The check valve is a small plastic device which prevents water from returning to the dishwasher after it has drained. If the valve gets stuck closed, it will prevent the water from draining. The check valve is the device that the drain hose is attached to on the dishwasher
Check Ball If the dishwasher won't drain the check ball might be stuck. The check ball is a small plastic ball in the check valve which prevents water from returning to the dishwasher after it has drained. If the ball gets stuck, it will prevent the water from draining also. The check valve is the device that the drain hose is attached to on the dishwasher.

My Fisher Paykal Washer is filling and emptying at the same time

check your drain hose if it to low in the main drain pipe this can cause the water to siphon out as well and there should be a small flap like door in the drain pump assemble that may be stuck in the open position.there is a chance that you may need to replace the pump. check the wiring and make sure it is connected properly

Barrel is half full of water and machine just makes a buzzing noise when powered up.

The washer sees the water in the tub and is trying to drain. The drain pump is either bad or there is something stuck in the pump. The pump is located on the back right side looking at the washer from the front. Unplug washer and empty water from tub. Take the back panel off, remove drain pump which more water will come out so have a wet vac ready. Check inside the pump for coins, lint, etc..., If you find something stopping the pump clean and reassemble and run the washer. The pump will have to be replaced if it does not now work. If there is nothing in the pump, replace the pump. Part number w10217134 retails for $95.20.

Simple in most cases its just the filter outlet has become full of day to day junk, debris and slime.
Slowly release the water by turning the handle to release the water. Ensure power is off.
Once the water has been drained into a shallow tray you can open the door.
Once the drum is empty, unscrew the handle completely to remove filter housing and clean out thoroughly.
replace and tighten up.
Turn on power and reset all programs.
This should work, Will take about 15 minutesto do, If it doesn't work, then it may be your pump. Also, check your long drain to see if there's anything clogging it up, rubberbands, hair bands coins, sock, etc.....hope this works for you....

Making a humming noise and not emptying water, tried different cycles and nothing working

Sounds like the pump is not working.
Check to see if there is a filter at the bottom front right of washer behind a drop down flap or cover.
If there is, then unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean,
Also see if you can see anything stuck in the filter housing leading into the pump.
Hope this helps.

Water did not drain

try to operate the machine emty and see if this will drain the water
if you have a filter check that is ok
check waste pipe and check if the pump is clear ( air noise if faulty)
if the water is emptied when machine has no clothes than it is the motor carbons
you have to chabge them they are ususally cheap 10-30 pouns dollar euros
depress the inset to release them and when replaced clean case in the motor so'' ignitions'' will work properly

Front load waher will not drain

Hi, your washer water pump, could be burnt out, or clogged up, but first check drain hose for kink, remove back of machine, locate water pump, device that your drain hose are connected to, remove all hoses, pump from washer, and clean, sometimes foreign objects get into it, and prevent pump impeller from spinning, also check water pump winding (coil) with ohm tester, place tester lead, one on each terminal on pump (motor) if you hear beep sound, pump motor o/k, if not, pump burnt out, replace it, but first remove pump, and clean it. after cleaning replace pump, try machine. you could put drain hose, close to floor, into buck, and water will empty by gravity, if water is not emptying, that's evidence your water pump is block, small object (handkerchief, coins etc.) gets into them, from time to time, first clean your water pump, `and check for kink, in drain hoses. . always disconnect power, before attempting any repairs. good luck.

Everything works fine but it will not spin

Hi, you got water pump problem, some pump have a filter you can remove and clean, or some some small clothing could get into it. or you can open water pump and manually check for foreign object. you can empty machine, by lowering drain hose to floor level, you will need somthing to collect water, then check pump.
