Because the supplier for the lcd screen went belly up and it was not enough of a seller for Uniden to want to redesign it, so I was told by Uniden.

Trying to find an internal speaker for my BCT7 I know this product has been discontinued I called Uniden and they were kind of snobby Where can I find one or are some of the other uniden scanner speakers...

I had one like that, could not find a replacement for, so i got one out of a junk radio and made it work, as long as it did not touch any thing and cause a short. As long as I got one screw in it was fine..worked great....hope this was helpful...

How do I change the answering machine recording?

All the manuals for Unidens phones can be located via the link below:

http://www.uniden.com.au/AUSTRALIA/cs_operating_manuals.asp

If for some reason you cannot locate it there then use the next link to look for a discontinued product:

http://www.uniden.com.au/AUSTRALIA/cs_discontinued_products.asp

NOTE: The websites above are the Australian sites. If you reside in a different country you may have to navigate to your country's website for Uniden. Some products (manuals etc...) are not available in all countries.

I hope this is helpful. Regards,

ANTENNA UNIDEN MYSTIC

Good News!!  I just received the email from Jessica at Uniden but when I called to place the order, I learned they are back-ordered( 550 Units) and are not scheduled to arrive until Nov 28, 2008.
So hopefully we will get them.  There is a $10 shipping charge in addition to the antenna.

Larry,
Thank you for your inquire. I apologies for the information you may haven been given. But You are able to order the antenna for this model. They part your needing is part number BATY0461001 Cost is 27.16. This part is on back order. If the jack that the antenna screws on to is also damaged you most likely can buy this part but there are no instructions on how to install it.
To send the unit in due to the jack being the damaged part. You would be asked to box the unit up attaching a note explaining the problems your having along with a check or money order for the flat rate repair fee of 59.95. This amount includes all parts labor and return shipping. The unit will then carry a 90 day warranty.
