You can unless you completely rewire everything in the rear of the vehicle my be easier to buy a new DVD player

Stock DVD player? Not likely...

Sounds like an aftermarket deck...but these are 1.5 din units...it may only look like it has a DVD player screen, due to the display size.

De-activate on star on 2005 trail blazer

The OnStar module is located under the right rear passenger seat, unhook the connector. Also, fuse #27 in the rear fuse panel is for the OnStar, but the DVD player as well.

My advent dvd player in my Yukon lets me load the dvd says loading then it automatically ejects it! How can I reset the dvd player?

my dvd player will not let me load a cd -- can "force: it in - takes it almost all the way then ejects it

Where is the fuel filter located on my 2004 Chevy Trail Blazer? WE

On 05+ Trail Blazer, the fuel filter is integral with the fuel pump inside of the fuel tank. It is a non-serviceable part. On 02-04s, the filter is on the drivers side frame rail at about the B-pillar. If your trail Blazer is a late 04 which means that it was build close to the 05 Trail Blazer, you may have a non serviceable fuel filter. Good luck and check under your Trail Blazer or look at your manufactured date sticker on the door which would help you indicate if your 04 is a early Trail Blazer and you'll have the fuel filter on the inside frame rail under the driver's door.

1st check to make sure air intake is opening all the way even though most vehicles are fuel injected these days there still is a idle screw located at the air intake also you might be having clogged fuel injectors

You did'nt mention what engine you have. The illustration below is for a 4.2L, the most common for the trailblazer.
The arrow indicates front of vehicle.

I just solved this problem on my Ford Edge 2010. Start the dvd. Hit the FM button on the remote. It will pop up an FM radio frequency in the top left corner of the screen. For example, ours is 88.7. Tune the car radio to that frequency and the sound should come through the speakers. Hope it works for you.

Worked exactly like previous answer. Press FM on the remote choose a frequency and then tune to that frequency.

I made the same mistake and settled for the cheaper solution. Sorry to say, Advent or Audiovox systems do not come with FM modulators. This is what allows sound to be transmitted from the DVD system to the radio…
Please check out: www.invisionindustries.com ALL of their systems come with FM modulators. Purchased the SL 7 for my wife’s Ford Edge and the Invision system is worth every penny! Best of luck.
