When I turn on my printer it seems to start up as normal but then as the cartridges go in to position the green light and the red one next to it flash on and off .I have re installed my drivers and even downloaded new ones from epson thinking it may be that but no so.....can you help me kindest regards makums
Your waste ink pad counter has reached it's limit and you must change the waste ink pads and reset the counter before the printer will work again. This requires the printer to be dismantled! Sell it on e-bay for what you can get!

Oh - I should have said you can overcome this problem temporarily by using the SSC utility - download from
http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml
and reset the Protection Counter. However, remember that eventually ink will overflow from the waste ink area and make a dreadful mess, so you must change the waste ink pads before this happens.

try to change new ink and stop for 5 min. then try back.................but still the same problem acc
