Peugeot 307 2001 1.4 petrol

Hi, ive got a peugeot 307 51 plate, 1.4 5 door. Driving on the motorway, the battery light come on, then everything stopped working, even the power steering. Got the road recovery out, they couldnt find the issue, Ive got the car home, had a friend look into it: The keylight flashes rapidly, The windows/locks dont work, except drivers door The engine turns over but doesnt bite All signs looked like the immobaliser Weve had another friend over checking the electrics with a probe, unable to get into the ecu programming or removing the fault the get it running. Weve tried changing the cam sensor, changed the battery, changed the ecu, the transponder and the key battery. Still nothing at all. Am i missing something? Thank you in advance

If you have a spare key try it. if the one you have was dropped or banged to many times it could be the chip in the key. try it hopefully it will solve you're problem. good luck

SOURCE: porsche key fob

If the key had gone faulty, the key code must be re programmed on the vehicle computer. This can be done only using a PIWIS tool, available at the dealer or at a qualified Porche garage.
Try also the following reset:
turn ignition on,
turn off.
remove the transponder from the column
push any button on the fob within 6 seconds.
This procedure will reset the key synchronizing again with the vehicle computer.

you may have to have the computer reflashed. Only the dealer can do that also. that is very bad for all electrical components in the car.

SOURCE: Key fob on my audi a3 1998 has stopped working

the problem is inside the key fob if there is no response from the key fob at all then a new one will be needed. the problem is in side there is a mini circuit board in which all the sensors for that specific car are soldered on they can break very easly.

How to fix an electrical circuit fault on peugeot 307

Test charging circuit (usually for free at parts store). A battery getting drained can cause much of this. With car sitting still you could try removing fuses one at a time to see if there is an unusual draw.

My engine management light is permantly on. How can I reset it?

Hi this could be many things.

Most likely it will be the air mass sensor, the lambda sensor, or the EGR valve, although if the EGR valve has gone you will notice a big loss in power.
You will have to get the car put on a code reader to be sure.

Hi, peugeot 206 clutch/engine problem..

It seems like the clutch pressure plate has given in. Best would be to replace the clutch pro-kit.( Clutch pressure plate, clutch plate and release bearing)

Hi, i have a 206HDI 51 plate and for some reason my brake lights (O/S N/S and tailgate)have stopped working. i've changed fuses but still no joy, bulbs also seem to be ok. All the other light are working...

Check the brake switch, located on the break pedal. Connect the 2 wires together and if the break lights work, a new switch is required.(if only 1 wire connect to frame/chassis)
