Invalid region When I put a disc in, I get this

This means that the region code on the disk (which determines where it may be played) does not match up with the region of your DVD drive.

Normally the region code can be changed, but only a limited number of times.

Try to make that if you buy a DVD online, it has the correct region code for your player

How do i remove the region codes

With Windows XP and above and most DVD players today users do have the option to change their DVD region scheme a few times (often no more than four times). To adjust the region in Windows follow the below steps.

  1. Click Start, Settings, and open Control Panel
  2. Double-click the System icon.
  3. In the System Properties click the Hardware tab.
  4. In Hardware click the Device Manager button.
  5. In Device Manager click the "+" symbol next to the DVD/CD-ROM drives icon.
  6. This should expand and display each of the drives installed in your computer. Double-click the DVD drive you wish to change the region for.
  7. In the Properties window click the DVD Region tab.
  8. Within this window you should be able to change your region code and also be able to see how many changes remaining you have on the drive.

I just bought Weeds season 6 from Amazon.com, now when I put it in my PS3 it says mismatch between disc and player region codes, can I change my region code on my PS3 or is there some other way to get it...

Yes you can change the region code on your Ps3.
1.) Go to BD / DVD Parental Control Region Code (don't ask me why its under parental control)
2.) Change the region code from United States to "Other". If it asks for specific check online to see what region the DVD's are from.

If you have some region-locked DVDs and you can't play on your DVD player, you can remove the region code by just get a dvd copy disc without region codese. You can try Leawo Blu-ray Copy which enables you to remove region code from Blu-ray and DVD.
