If you know how much wrong the clock was set, ie.
The clock was 1999-01-01 14:37 but it should have been 2017-05-22 19:00, there are softwares that could correct this error for a directory of files.
just search for exif time offset correct software (exif is the files hidden information about the photo)
Please go to Setup menu and select Initialize option to reset camera to default settings that might solve blurry picture problem, if that does not help then its technician job to adjust focus of camera. Thanks.
You haven't said what make/model your camera is, so it is hard to advise.
Without knowing the camera, I am guessing that you may be in the wrong mode when trying to change this setting. You won't be able to change it while reviewing pictures already taken. You can only change it for pictures to be taken subsequently. Once pictures are taken, you won't be able to add the date stamp, nor remove it if it has been stamped.
It may be that it won't allow you to set this if you haven't already set the date and time in your camera. I can't see why this setting would be shown at all if it was not possible to turn it on (i.e. if your camera did not have this feature).
Turning the date stamp off will only work for future pictures you take...The only way to remove the date on the pictures you have already taken is to do a crop or photshop the area...
Try resetting your camera. In picture taking mode press menu. Go to setup, go up to reset, press right arrow, make sure reset is highlighted and press set.
Then TAKE OUT MEMORY CARD. Go back into menu, go to setup, go up to format, press right arrow and highlight format, press set. Input ur date and time again and then power off and back on. If that doesn't help then you have to send into repairs. 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 2 and they will tell you where to send it.
Whenever you change the batteries in your camera you need to reset the clock. You can use the LCD screen Settings menu or set the camera's clock from your computer.
