Washing techno xt

I need to wash the hood of my maclaron tchno xt. how can i do this?

Remove the hood from the stroller and wash it by hand in the sink or bath tub. They usually clean up very well. Open the hood up and hang to dry or put it back on the stroller with the hood fully extended and let it dry. Just remember not to fold the hood back until its completely dry so that it doesnt mildew.

I couldn't get the canopy off, so I used laundry liquid and a wet cloth to wash it, then carefully hosed it off so the body wouldnt rust and left it out to dry. But putting my seat back on, there is a press stud on both sides and I can't see where they go!

How to detach maclaren stroller hood

To remove the canopy/hood from the stroller:
Go to the bottom of the canopy where you will find the black resin piece that wraps around the chassis/body.
You will see a vertical tab sticking out abou 1/4 of an inch
Press out (3:00 on a clock) and down to release the tab
Do the same on the other side
Voila! You are ready to handwash and let dry!

You can try eBay.

Also I use soda crystals it marvellous for removing stains from buggy seat covers, it just loves it!

Frame OK on Techno XT but I'd like to replace hood and liner

Go to www.buggypitstop.co.uk they are maclaren repair agents and will be able to get you new parts

Maclaren 'universal' footmuff does NOT fit techno XT

if it says it fits all of there prams but doesnt then i would send it back regardless i would definetly ring the maclaren helpline and they might help

I have a spare hood and seat for sale. It is brand new and is storm grey/silver colour, with a silver reflective trim. It is for a Maclaren XT Techno, but also fits the Vogue as same frame.

If you check with mothercare they maybe able to replace for free if in years gaurantee or you can pay and they will order, or go to maclarens website get customer service no and they will sell one over the phone.

Clean fabric on stroller

I have just removed mine and hand washed it, but left the rain hood/pocket section in place and wiped that part clean to avoid unscrewing it
