Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3x Cellular Phone
I have downloaded themes of RAZR V3x to my pc in zip formatt, of course have to unzip it and download it to my phone via bt the phone says not supported format. any Idea How to install themes to RAZR V3x? thanks..
HOW TO INSTALL SKINS
GOT TO MODMYMOTO.com read forums there on how to install themes for motorola. you need skin manager v0.51 also the driver for motorola. downloads themes then extract it. open skin manager wait until it reads your fone then choose menu files,
if downloads button is clickable
HERE IS SOME GUIDE
click it choose the extracted skin just click the file you will see specially the .SKI
then go to SKIN on upper left corner
look for install dont check anything
look for the file on your skin extracted file then install it.
wallahhhh installed
after it click "more" button on lower right then click restart phone
make sure the skin is compatible to your UNIT or model of fone. good luck...

Yes i no that, what you have to do is connect it to your computer and be in the memory card mode and then click mobile and in there you make a file called skins and for games and apps make a file called games and apps and then put the games in there and then go into the games on your phone and go to install new

Its is not just installing it. you must have a software to install the theme in your motorola v3x.
the easiest software is skiner4moto. download it and install in your pc.
1. connect your motorola then run the program (skiner4moto)...the program will read your phone. once it is ready, you can view the current theme/skin installed to your phone like the neon, moto and silver.
2.then click install found at the bottom left part of the window. a window will pop up. just click okay. then you can browse the skin that you downloaded(fie must be unzip)...
3. after you click the skin that you downloaded, you can see it in the skiner4moto window with the other current skin/theme in your phone.
4. right click the skin you want to intall then click set as active/active
5. after that click MORE found at the bottom right corner of the window and click restart phone.
6. it will take 20-60 seconds for your fone to restart. just be patient.
7. you can view the other themes that you installed in your fone in the SETTINGS, PERSONALISE, SKIN...
...i do have the same problems before.

OK EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE A V3X and i know the way to download a apply skins onto your phone.
1. DOWNLOAD and install P2k Commander
2. DOWNLOAD and install drivers for your computer and phone
3. DOWNLOAD SKINS FROM 'MODYMOTO'
4. When you open the zipped folder there should be a star icon saying install and another saying uninstall, and many other files. Click, or double click on the file called 'install' This will install the skin. You will see a little box, it might blink a few times, if this happens, IT HAS WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!

From what i have been reading of late you cannot download THEMES onto the phone. you can download skins but not themes.
