I was so psyched when i first got my H10 iRiver MP3 Player. Loved the built in radio and the sound system! However, it was a let down when i can only upload 1G/20G of mp3 files. I tried uploading other mp3 music files, it synchronized till about 10% and it says 'aborted file'. I would like to know what is wrong?
Should i reset it? or is my internal hard drive actually damaged?
Ermm... it is not allowing me to do that... What is the iriver software that i need to use? At the moment, i'm using windows media player to synchronize my music.Ermm... it is not allowing me to do that... What is the iriver software that i need to use? I clean format. Via Windows explorer. Right click the drive and then format it as FAT32. Once its done, unplug it and open the iriver software. Plug it in and see if that works. Good luck

Sir/ madam good day. me i ask regarding my iriver H10 the problem is system files missing how to restore the system files connect H10 to iriver plus? thank u?
for tips on fixing the H10 with problems -- try this website.
From what i have seen, your scrollbar is in need of replacement. Need to buy a cheap as-is unit from ebay, get tools to open your H10, and replace the defective part.
iRiver H10 - Missing System Files
You must be connected to the internet for this to work:
1.Download the MTP Firm Updater Utility from iriver website - iriverinc.com/support (Audio Jukebox --> H10)
2. Unzip file, run .exe file, go thorugh wizard (if you are not in mass storage mode, it will give you instructions on the wizard on how to change this)
3. Select Recovery
4. Finish going through wizard
5. disconnect iRiver from computer, and wait for it to update - your player should be good.
If the problem happens again, then uninstall Windows Media Player 11 from your computer and rollback to Windows Media Player 10 (you will NOT lose any songs by doing so).
Good luck!

go to www.iriver.com people - what the f--- do you think it means?
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
Try doing a format via windows explorer. Right click on the drive and then format as fat32. Then unplug and open iriver plus. Reconnect. See if that works. Good luck!
