Question about Sony PSone Console

PSOne main menu probs

When I turn my psone on I cannot exit to the main menu and the games do not automatically load the screen just stays on the memory card and play cd screen but cds wont play either..????

when i put on a cd it dosent works even if the cd is new.the game dosent play

Mine's pretty old -- All I know is that my CD drive isn't initializing. Someone help?

Check for any broken flex cable.

2.) Bad lens. Try cleaning the lens of your psone with a lens cleaner... C.d. included...

Psone memory card+controller=freeze

Try using different slots for the controller and memory card. If it still doesn't work then try getting a new memory card.

1.) Check if its the same c.d. you are playing with... If it is the same one... Play a different c.d.
2.) You may have some loose connections within your psp.
3.) A bad power cable or power supply may contribute to the restrart of your psone console.

well ur ps2 memory card should work for psx ones, im sure of that,

doesnt mean all will work but i say maybe try getiing a psone memoery card and using that but gosh i know for sure that a ps2 memory card should work for the psone game,

if you need halp finding a psone memory you can search ebay and get one real cheap, or i could just send you an extra one i have lol

I put my ps2 game in my ps2 then it sed disc read error and onli psone games workd on it after several weeks psone games stopped working n it aswell

the lens has had it, common fault on PS2 consoles, the lens will need replacing.

When i get to the loading screen on disk 2 it gets stuck on a black screen. i tried cleaning both the console and the disk but it still gets stuck on the black screen

Alot of the newer playstation console's won't read the old black or blue labels. Try getting it resurfaced. Cost you about $2 at the nearest game store.

About Plystation One

1.) You may have some loose connections within your psp. Check power cable if there is an led light emitting from your unit confirming that the console is already powered on...
2.) Audio & Video cable should be check if there is a display...
3.) Bad lens... Have your lens be cleaned by a lens cleaner...

Yes, you can have different devices connected to the LCD Screen for the psone. That's what the AV IN connection is there for, so you can connect things such as camcorders. Right now, I have my PS2 Slim hooked up the the psone lcd screen for portable gaming goodness.

Problem saving PSone games on PS3

If you go to "Game" on the settings menu when the PS3 starts up, simply create a new internal memory card, after doing so, assaign the memory card to a slot by pressing triangle. Then you should be able to save PSone games
