Sounds like a formatting problem. I suggest you back up all the files on it, find yourself a card reader (if you dont already have one), and format the card. Im guessing that this is a card youve brought, and is different to the card that came with the phone? If so, pop the original card in the reader first, and find out what format it is (i.e. FAT). Once thats done, pop the new card in and make sure its in this format. If your phone still doesnt recognise it, you should be covered under the warranty of the memory card, whether it was brought sperately or not - exchange it with them and double check the phone and card ae compatible :) hope that helps - chris

Reading memory card

Hi
Try using another memory card, this time of less capacity i.e if you were using say a 8GB SD card, try a 4GB or 2GB one. It could be your phones not compatible with the cards storage capacity.

Hope it helps.Thank you.

Phone is not accepting the memory card olways prompting card is removed even though if it is already inserted... tnx for the help......

the memory card must not have been properly removed at some time. Just reset your mobile and try inserting. this will clear your problems!

My phone says my memory card isnt inserted even though it is

It may have been damaged. If your card had a warranty try to get a new one. But if you put it into another device and it works, the card may have been a little dirty.

Memory Card is not accessible in my N-72 mobile phone.

take the memory card out of the phone and then try all of the options to reset to factory defaults etc and if it is related to the memory card it will just give you an error message of some description to state that it cant erase the memory card because you do not have one

Unable to read memory card

Sometimes the problem is the little lock that some memory cards bring .. , some other times if this does not work ..then it might be the card slot on the phone..or finally the same memory that is damaged
