Hi I bought this camera 3 years ago.the first one took 6 photos and stopped working.Argos replaced it,but by then my partner and I broke up and he took his computer.I now have new computer.the camera has never been used, when taking a photo it comes out blueish and negative like.I have tried all settings and new battries to no avail.Concord has told me its not there problem and that it is a disposible camera and cannot be fixed. Is this so.Is this such a bad product.thank you Karen

Well they are correct for so many small electronics these days- not always a bad product- simply the way these things are made on huge machines - there is no human intervention- ie. soldering minuscule parts on tiny circuit boards-possible.
Buyit -breakit- binit seems to be the order of the days- Kettles/Toasters/Irons /All the same All made in China all not worth tuppence

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.
I got a Delongi Mic form argos too ,model ED8525S-SBD, sounds like a similar problem to what happened to it last year. Issue is that the bulb explodes (mainly due to the very strong spring on the door I think) leaving filament lieing on the metal chassis, hence the trip switch in your fuse box trips.
Didn't manage to find a replacement bulb but at least if you remove the old bits then it will get the machine back up and running and stop the trip tripping!
Take off the top by removing the 4or 5 screws around the outer edge at the back. The bulb sits directly behind the front panel inside its own metal chassis. There is a diamond shaped black plastic flange which the 2 power wires feed onto. 2 metal lugs hold this inside the chassis. straighten the lugs and the bulb holder pulls out. Even with the bulb removed I think there was a blown fuse and I had a further issue with the turntable not turning(this feeds off the same circuit as the bulb). So maybe Argos were right - the machine only cost £80 at the end of the day!
we are going back to the Argos Store where we bought the camera to see if they will exchange it for another one as we have the receipt when we bought it two months ago.
