Question about Pioneer VSX-D510 Receiver

Pioneer VSX D510 Reciever (power supply or the main amp circuit problem)

I have had this reciever for quite awhile now but i have never gotten it fixed. It turns on and then says a message of power off. I removed all the speakers and any other connections and the same message appears and it still says power off and shuts off. Is there any solution if it is a power supply or main amp circuit problem? Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. I read on a kind of VSX-D510 eletronic manual tha says POWER OFF "When displayed, it's the case where DC is in the output of AMP".

Do you know what does it means? How can I solve the problem?

I have a Pioneer VSX-D510 reciever with 5 speakers and sub. The sub keeps making continual popping sounds at higher volume levels when watching movies, tv etc. Have to turn most of the way down. Also,...

Manuals help a lot.

Tell us about the speakers. Maybe they're not compatible.

As far as what to expect to hear from surrounds, that depends on the sound engineering.

Test tones for speaker setup will get it all dialed in. Page 17.

I am trying to hook my playstation 3 up to the pioneer vsx 510 using a digital optic cable. I have everything set on the playstation but still cannot get any sound. I am not that familiar with the reciever...

Be sure youve selected the optical output option on your ps3 (in sound options on your XMB) ... now on the back on the amp under the optical input it says CD. Select CD input using the toggle know or your remote and then on the front of the amp press the button labeled"signal select"(in between DSP select
