HP Photosmart C7280 all in onwont scan a picture to the computer

It will scan to a memory card, it will scan and reprint a photo, but it won't scan "pic to file"

If I unistall it completely then reinstall it, it will probably work once. It gives me the error: "HP CUE-Scanning Flow Component" has encountered a problem

Won't scan anything to the PC desktop computer, only to a memory stick. I have a MAC laptop and it will scan to that computer fine, but not to my desktop. Different drivers downloaded for PC and Mac, obviously, but it keeps saying someone else is using the computer or it's "not available" fo rme to scan from... anyone find a solution to this?

Can't scan from HP Photosmart C7280 to my Mac Computer

The best way to scan documents from the scanner to your computer is to use HP Photosmart Essential. If you don`t already have it installed it can be downloaded from the HP site. Once in the program it is very simple to follow. It is basically a point and click operation.

Let me know how you make out and we can do other things if this doesn`t work for you.

Please remember to rate me.

Wanting to scan from scanner to computer

this happened to me too. i don't know how to fix it on the printer, but i scanned it through the computer. i went into the hp solution center, went to the scanning section, and told the printer to scan it from the computer. it worked fine. that way you don't have to save it to a memory card or anything. they went to the same folder all my other scans go to.
