remove the toner bottle and make around 50 copies but make the copies in A4 LEF but with open ADF and put a white paper on half of the A4 LEF area for to be the copes half white half black. This must be done for the extra toner that is inside the developer unit to be removed. It must be half black-half white for the machine can print the copies, otherwise it will constantly jams. pit the white paper in the right half section of A4 LEF area and make around 50 copies. But do this without toner bottle inside the machine. After the 50 copies end, print a counter and see does it got better. If is ok then return back the toner bottle and the machine will continue to work. If still the copy is bad then make more copies without toner bottle until the image is clear.
it is normal, just mixing, continue printing, it will slowly cover the page till the entire page is printed or copied, dont worry, just reuse the half printed paper till when the pages print complete.
It sounds like the settings on your printer in the menu area have been set to reduce the image you want to print? Click on menu and then scroll the features with the up and down arrows and check on the size of the image to print and change it if necessary.
Please clairfy what you mean by "using the operators mode".
if you are tec guy? do half test page test find any image created on catridge drum, if no image found then Check laser scanner assembly shutter fully operating or not while catride access unit closed, if unable to check, remove the shutter from laser scanner assm Increase toner density set factory settings, If image on drum no print on paper, check transfer roller, contacts, if dirty replace T.roller, no result replace Power supply board..
A user default
1.The printer is possibly not designed to perform in color copying through the machine feeder area, only on the photograhic image scan area. Discontinue scanning the image in feed area.
A Technical default
1. The device is nearly out of ink
2. The device printing bands are clogged requires cleaning
A printing material defect
1. The positioning of the medium to be photocopied only achieves success when layed flat on the screen. Possible images are likely when lightening does not escpe in the process.
Consider, using an alternative copy machine that would achieve success.
If it is only causing an image problem when you copy and not when you print, then there is something wrong with the optics under the glass. Check and see if you have any mirrors out of place or if the scanner looks crooked. If you have the machine set up to scan try and scan to SMB or email to see if it still has the problem. If everything looks correct under the glass and scans to SMB and email look bad like the copies, you may have a bad CCD assembly, or a bad board.
Has to be a roller problem. First check that the drum is being cleaned properly by the drum blade, it is responsible for cleaning the leftover image of the copy/print before it ( when you remove or look at the drum you should not see an image or toner ,it should be clean , if not replace drum and blade). Next check that the upper fuser roller is not damaged ( This is the rollers that heat up and fuse the image into the paper ). If these check out it could be the erase array or laser unit ...Good Luck
You need to check the drum unit for wear or the main charge assembly. If you are not mechanically inclined, just replace the drum unit and clean the transfer charge on the right side door.
Does this help? You obviously have to insert the media type into the media slot on the far right.(omoademola)
