there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.
The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.
I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.
If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.
I had a friend who had a razor and it did the same thing, what she would do (and only sometimes this would work) is she would close it as fast and hard as she could and it would fix itself, but eventually it got bad enough to where she had to get a new phone...
HI, I BOUGTH A DATA CABLE FOR MOTOROLA RAZR V3M OVER EBAY BUT THE DRIVER/UTILITY CD WAS NOT INCLUDED, NOW I'M TRYING TO DOWNLOAD SOME STUFF INTO MY RAZR AND PC WILL NOT RECOGNIZE IT. WHERE CAN I FIND THE DRIVER TO DOWNLOAD OVER THE WEB? XP box won't see the phone when connected via the USB cable. The phone charges when connected. Have swapped several times the USB port to see if connectivity was good. It was.
your phone has a problem with the flex cable go to a cellphone service and they will replace the flex cable and it should work just fine no need to buy a new one if u dont want to
in the top right corner you are suppose to have a little circular magnet that changes the screen when the phone is open or closed. I just changed my housing yesterday and took the magnet out and put it in my new housing but for some reason i have the same problem as you. so maybe you lost the magnet when you replaced the lcd and if that is the case then you are screwed. try have Motorola fix it, don't tell them you replaced the lcd
