Flashing green power light

Tried to turn on my TV and all I get is a flashing green power light. Already tried trouble shoot with the manuel-no solution.

    green power light blinks off and on but tv wont come on.

    Tried to power tv on but just get a blinking green light. Tried to do a reset but it does not work. unpluging set for awhile dis not work.



    Repair man said the dm board needs to be replaced( tv's computer). TV tries to start when the green light flashes,



    but cannot communicate with the computer which is not working.

Verify Model # on back of set ends with....13. If so, then
replace four capacitors in DM module...1000mf 25v 105 degree.
If not,solution will be different....................T.

My ps3 will not power up
here is step by step trouble shooting
1) attempt to turn on the ps3
+you will see one of 4 things a green yellow red light
+flashing red light
+green light
+no lights
2) if you see a green yellow red light call sony your system will need service
3) if you see a red flashing light also call sony needs service
4) if the light is green turn off the system and one the light is back to red press and hold the power button for a series of 2 beeps (do not forget the one when you first push the button down) then let go (it might be a video issue)
5) if you still see no video and a green light check the cable you are using and try again on a different tv
6) if you see no power light call sony it needs service


these are genuine trouble shooting steps from sony technical support if you do have to call them be prepared to follow the same steps that lead up to service. thank you

Hi.The signal lights red means the primary power of your tv is good and the signal lights green indicate the second power.If the green lights is flashing it means that they have shorted parts in the crt board.Maybe the problem is in the power section of the crt.Need for troubleshoot or repair the crt board.

The flashing code is a trouble shooting guide for the techs, you have lost something either in the power supply or another board in your unit. Depending on the sequence of the flashes tells us what to look for. Is this a TV or dvd player?

Sounds like a defective lamp diever or ballast.Listen for a buzzing sound when you turn the set on. If you do not hear it then most likely you have a bad ballast or lamp driver. Worst case scenerio would be the engine itself.

Green power light will not stop flashing and tv will not turn on or off
You need to replace the 1000uf capacitors on the DM board thats the classic symptom of the DM caps being bad the light continues to blink repeatedly. If you need more info on the repair let me know.
