Insignia speakers NS-22 not working

The manual mentions nothing about a 'Volume Safety'.

That seems like all you should have to do. Are you selecting the correct Input Source on your TV???

remove front cover and unlach bottom to get accses to speakers .

To replace the speakers, you have to open its back cover. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/Pull up older posts. Disassemble procedure to many popular brand TVs are given with illustrations.

Keep checking Ebay. I hate that site, but sometimes they are a necessary evil.

Check if the speakers are muted or if the volume is low. Then go to the Menu and in the Audio submenu go down to Speakers. Make sure that the internal speakers are on.

If the speakers still don't work, they may have failed or the wiring may be damaged. Unfortunately, I do not see any speakers for the TV from my usual vendors.

these remotes don't have a part #. The only way really is to just get one of those universal remotes or call insignia give them the serial # for your tv and they might have a part # for it. Other wise you might be out of luck.

Unfortunately with this model of Insignia you MUST have the remote that comes with that model number in order to unlock it. Other Insignia remotes won't work. So I have ordered another remote from an online company. Hopefully that will work. I'll probably have to call Insignia to have them walk me through it once the remote arrives.

try putting the insignia on hold before you plug it in...i had the same problem and i found that this helped
