There is no power of my philips tv 26pfl4507, how will i do?

Ensure that the plug is inserted in the power socket and the switch is on. Turn on a table lamp or any other visible light near the TV. Then switch on/off the TV manually a couple of times from the control panel of the TV, giving a time-gap in between. If you notice the electric light flicker, and the TV makes a starting noise, the primary section of the TV is switching. If the LED is not glowing, there is a problem with the primary switching section, and might require attention by a qualified service technician. Also try this removing the batteries of the Remote. If it works, then the buttons on the remote are jammed!

I have the same model and the same problem... I am told the power display board is is the issue and may need to replacing. New board costs around $80,or a bad capacitor depending on your paitence.

Hissing sound from speakers and the picture turns off.

That model set was known for Chinese capacitors that failed, replace the power supply or look for bulged caps and replace them if your able to

Philips 50pf3691d/37 won't turn on!!!

If you don't have any green lights anymore on the power supply PCB, replace it (part number LJ44-00118A, can be found on-line for approx $180).

Philips 42PF7220A/37 42" Plasma TV

After you remove the back cover inspect the power supply board for swollen or bulging capacitors. Pull and check any capacitors that you suspect to be swollen. Next, look for a sticker in the upper right hand side of the TV set. Use the values you find on the sticker to calibrate the voltages on the power supply board.

Tv not powering on

as per your statement there is a loose contact in power supply section of your tv. it is 1oo% sure that allthe parts are ok as tv runs ok when it comes on. but you will have to call tech. as without knowing technology it is dangerous to open tv due to high voltage.
