Pioneer pro-119 just replaced the power assembly/deflection board (for the second time in 2 years) and now I am getting a green somewhat thick line down the middle.

    i have a PRO 200 and every 30 minutes it zaps and goes off, when I turn the power button back on it starts working fine again

Hello,

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

When you push the main power button on and the standby button it turns green for 2 seconds then turns right back to red what's going on???

1 or 2 things, Blowed Fuse on the Deflection power supply board
6.3 amps will be located in the Middle of chassis.
STK ICs need to be replaced STK392-110 use 120s

If you don't mind opening the thing, open it up and follow the power lead inside the TV. Somewhere along the line should be a fuse. I'd start there.

Pioneer PRO-119 - Mini Burst . . . Then Nothing

Pioneers are fairly easy to troubleshoot. However if he solderd and that fixed it, is the set doing the same symptom as before he solderd it? I would recomend getting the service manual for the set and troubleshoot the start up voltage circuits. Let me know if you would like a link where to get a service manual

364.00 for a new Power/deflection board through pioneer. i am including a link to their site. You may find it cheaper someplace else on line, but pioneer will have better quality parts. hope this helps. heres the link.

Does not power on

ok on pioneer most of the time it is because of bad connections all over the main power supply board solder these and see what happens like i said most of the times it starts with bad connections.
