have you received an answer yet??? I have had to take off and put back on mine at least 10 times now.....If you still don't have an answer I will take mine apart and re-cover and write steps down as I go....it is a hard cover to take on and off....it still takes me about 20mins to get it all together....you may want to consider buying a easy remove cover to go overtop of your pre-existing one. Let me know if you need help
First turn seat upside down. There should be a slot on each side under the seat, run strap through each slot and turn back over. Pull strap up evenly, put on clasp part on each side, then put chest clasps on, run your straps through back and secure to strap comes between legs.
would assume you're talking like a booster seat with the back just no 5pt harness. You just buckle them up like you do. If they have those arm rest looking things, the part where it buckels goes under that one arm rest and the shoulder strap should go resting over his shoulder like yours. Some of them have a loop up top for the shoulder strap to go through. Just make sure that the toddler does NOT put their arm over the shoulder part of the belt. If you get into an accident this could break his/her ribs.
Do you have a company name for this product? Graco, Cosco? If you do I can look up an online manual for you as there is most likely a diagram to make my description easier for you to visualize. At any rate you need to insert 2 of the straps (the ones with the pieces to snap into the buckle at the **** ) through the back side (aline your child with the slots to ensure correct placement. You want the belt to come out just above the shoulder) DId you take this completely apart to wash? If so you will need to slip on the chest buckle pieces as well. Hope this helps. I can help better if you are able to get back with the company name so I can get the manual for you. :)
contact cosco as they are the manufacture, this attached link will give you a site that with the model number and manufacture date you can download the manual which will tell you how to put it back together
