Question about Kenmore Oasis HE 27082 Top Load Washer
Yes, changing out the control board will probably fix your problem. Trouble is the board plus shipping costs $180. The best solution: sign up for a one year warranty called "service smart" for $215, then call for service. It covers trip costs and parts and labor. I changed out my board by myself and now I have a leak problem that I cannot locate. They will be out here next Monday.
If only I knew, I'd only be out $215 instead of $215+$180. The number for the protection agreement is 1-800-827-6655 (US), 1-800-361-6665 (Can)*. They wanted to sell me coverage for my fridge too but why should I buy it until something happens to it?
(*I do not work for Sears or their affiliates...)

This is a known problem with the Oasis. It is caused by a bad relay on the Interface Control Board inside the console. Unfortunately, the "cure" for the problem is the replace the board and/or the wire harness that connects the console to the Main Control Board underneath the console. If you attempt to defeat the sound on the circuit card you could potentially damage it to the point where it doesn't work at all. The circuit board usually runs about $120. The only inexpensive alternative is to leave the room and shut the door behind you. That way you won't have to deal with the annoying beeping.

WOW! I too am having the same problem. It just started this last weekend. The washer is just 1 year and 4 months old. Sometimes it works fine and then others it beeps and changes times up and down.
I did just buy the one year warranty through sears. It was $139. for 1 year.
It is a huge waste of money.
If you have figured out an easy fix let me know.
The same. Problem started when Sears replaced the control board due to a recall. I guess I'll have to call them back.
