Sharp Aquos LC-37D64U Skips HDMI

My Sharp when switched on will initially go to HDMI input but after a few seconds will switch to Channel 3 Analog. The HDMI comes from a SA HD Explorer 8300 and is through a Pioneer Rx with HDMI switching. Could the receiver be switching too slow for the TV?

The problem was caused by ME not setting up my Harmony Remote correctly after buying the new TV. The remote was programmed to turn on SA8300>turn on Receiver>Turn on TV>Select channel 3.

Simple change from select channel 3 to select Input 4.

Sharp Aquos 32D64U LCD HDTV. I need help connecting and/or setting up an Ematic AT103B digital converter box.

Question edited for clarity and order, 'make model (what it is)'.

On the television remote you have to select the Source or Input. Each press will take you through the HDMI ports and all other signal inputs like co-ax. Your LA channel is likely via the co-ax indoor aerial.

Problem connecting my PS3 to my Sharp Aquos LC-C3237U LCD TV

Your PS3 set itself above the max resolution your LC-C3237U. Most likely the PS3 is doing 1080P, but the highest the Sharp can do is 1080i. So do this:

1. Connect PS3 to TV (you can use the current cable or analog cable)
2. Turn on TV and set input to port PS3 is on.
3. Make sure PS3 is connected via correct cable.
4. Power on PS3 via power button and HOLD IT for 5 seconds (release after the second beep). It should automatically configure your PS3 to the TV's native resolution for all settings.

You have it hooked up right. I found something on page 26 of your manual. Look at the HDMI setup section. I think that maybe the problem there. It's an audio select option for input 5.
Let me know if it works.

Can't get analog stations

Good Day, Jamievass;
Please disconnect the NEW DVD Player, does analog stations come back? What input are you using; RF, Comp, hdmi? If ok try using another input or you may need a main bord that processes the signal.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

My Sharp Aquos 46" LCD

Digital inputs on Aquos TV's are "always on," usually the HDMI inputs and DVI inputs. As opposed to analog inputs 1, 2, or 3, are only activated once something is plugged in.
Try plugging in another HDMI sources into input4 or 5, if its still not working, the TV needs a new Main Board. Try calling Sharp 1-800-237-4277 and locating a local service center in your area.

Blink on Sharp Aquos LC-32D43U

If your using a HD converter box, there is usually a blink when switching from an HD channel to a non HD channel. It is just adjusting from different pictures modes such as changing from a 480i channel/show to a 1080i channel. If this is the case, its perfectly normal.

Change your input source. You are probably on Input Source "TV". My HDMI cable is plugged in INPUT 4 so make sure that your TV is set to the right INPUT.
