Question about Southwestern Bell GH5850 Cordless Phone
The caller ID screen on my handset does not display complete characters. Many of the dots and lines will not display in various spots on the screen making it virtually impossible to read. The same thing happened to my GH58 add on handset but is not as severe, and also to a VTech phone located in the house also. I assume I am correct in guessing that nothing can be done about this?

handsets and base unit announce the
caller's name or phone number received
from your service provider/telephone
company following every ring.
The unit announces in English only.

L Caller ID service has a limit of how
many characters can be displayed. If
the caller's name is too long, the

same level as the ringer volume (page
L If you turn on the answering system
and set the number of rings "2
rings" (page 36), the unit does not
announce the caller information. If

is a new message, the unit does not
