Phone your phone from some other line and leave a message. Then go into your troubled phone and clear it. It takes about 15 seconds for the phone company to return a " message indicator light off " before the light goes out . Even if you get a note when retrieving your messages that there are no messages hit 3 then 3 again then 7 3. E. takes you to the end of any message and 7 deletes it. I could explain why you are getting this recording that says you have no message but it would take too long. That voice you hear saying you have no message I actually a message so 3 3 then 7 will delete it

You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

I have a panasonic home phone want to remove the voice mail sign and light flashing

To remove the voicemail indicator and stop the flashing light on your Panasonic home phone, you can try the following steps:
1. Access the voicemail system: Dial your home phone number from your Panasonic phone or another phone and let it ring until it goes to voicemail. Enter your voicemail password or follow the prompts to access your voicemail messages.
2. Listen to and delete all voicemail messages: Check your voicemail inbox for any new or saved messages. Listen to each message and follow the instructions to delete them. Ensure that your voicemail box is empty.
3. Exit the voicemail system: Once you have listened to and deleted all voicemail messages, exit the voicemail system by following the prompts or hanging up the call.
4. Reset the phone: Disconnect the power adapter from the back of your Panasonic phone base unit. Wait for about 30 seconds and then plug the power adapter back in. This will perform a reset on the phone and clear any residual indicators.
5. Check the voicemail indicator: After the phone has rebooted, check if the voicemail indicator is still active or if the light is still flashing. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
6. Disable visual voicemail feature (if applicable): Some Panasonic home phones offer a visual voicemail feature that may trigger the voicemail indicator and flashing light. To disable this feature, consult the user manual for your specific model and follow the instructions to turn off the visual voicemail function.
7. Contact Panasonic support: If you have followed the above steps and are still unable to remove the voicemail indicator or stop the flashing light, it's recommended to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your phone model and help troubleshoot the issue.
Remember to consult the user manual for your Panasonic home phone model as the steps and features may vary slightly.

How to erase messages

Push the delete button. It will say "to delete all messages push delete" Push it again. Then it will say "all old messages have been deleted." Sometimes it is a pain because the button isn't great and won't work and you have to start again. You can't delete messages without having to listen to them though even if you just start. If you begin to listen you can push delete and it will delete it and move on.

Why are the Uniden DECT 6.0 phones blinking yellow lights? There are no messages.

It is a message indicator light, and very aggravating when you've listened to the messages. Two solutions-- First, yes, absolutely once you've listened to your new messages, push the Page Button on the base unit for five seconds until it stops beeping. That should stop the light.
And for me it worked the first time. Not the second time. Then, I found out that the phone's answering machine, which I don't use, had been turned on, received a message (yes, from an automated telemarketer of course!) and then been turned off. So when I turned it back on, I saw "1" on the display. Press delete all messages and the light goes off.
So check the actual physical answering machine too if your phone has one.

When my phone is on the base the light is flashing on and off. I don't know what my 3 year old grandaughter done to the phone. She was playing with it. The phone works but the light keeps flashing.

You have a phone with built in answering machine.

This flashing light means you have a message. Just listen to the message, and delete it, then the light will go away.
Perhaps there are many messages.
You need to listen to them all

New Message Light won't stop flashing

Don't know about other models, but I just called RCA small business phone support (800-511-3180) to find out how to clear the message light indicator on my 25210 2-line cordless phone when it continues to blink but there is no message.

All you have to do is hold down the delete button for a few seconds and it will clear. Hope this helps someone else from going batty!

Red blinking lights

Here are sample paragraphs from the user manual : hope it helps !

The new message LED on the handset flashes when you have new messages in your
answering system. The LED stops flashing when all new messages are played back.

3) To delete all messages, press delete messege in standby mode. Press delete
messege
again after the announcement "To delete all messages, press delete
again."
When you try to delete all messages without first listening to your new messages,
you hear several short beeps followed by an announcement "Please playback all
messages." This protects you from accidentally erasing messages you have not yet
reviewed.
Important:
When you press delete messege, you are permanently deleting the message. Once
deleted, the message cannot be replayed or retrieved.
