Hi, I had the same problem as deano12. No power on my MPC 4000. I fixed the problem myself for £2.49p! and it's a very easy DIY job, trust me..... Now its as good as new.
Here's how it's done:
Tools = Small posy screw driver.
Allen Key
#1 You will need to buy the following (T 2.5A 250V) fuse. You can get this from Maplin the code is GL63 and it's £2.49 for a pack of 10, but you will only need one.
Note: This fuse does not go in the plug, but is located inside the MPC on the left hand side next to the side panel. There is only one so you shouldn't miss it.
#2 Follow the link below to the MPC4000 service manual and follow the diagram instructions on how to dismantle you machine. This is just unscrewing about 30 small screws.

#3 Locate the fuse, take it out and replace it with a new one.
If your having trouble finding it, look on page 7 of the service manual and it's just behind the PC FILTER BLK.
#4 Follow the steps you took to dismantle it but in reverse.
Goodluck and have faith!

Hi, have you tried a diferent power point {wall outlet], If all else fails you will need to test the internal power pack, If you can use a multimeter then the red wires are 6v, yellow wires 12v, black = negative, blue 5v grey is neutral and purple is 2v. If you cant do this then its off to your nearest technician. Goodluck, regards mistyman
