I opened my laptop and one side of the screen was white, with black spots and lines, with other colored lines like blue, red, blue, and etc. please help me!
You can use the following website to try and fix some of these pixels that are stuck on the wrong colors:

However, it may just be a defective screen. You may need to have it replaced under warranty (and this most definitely will be covered)
SOURCE: black and white lines after bios screen before boot up
The issue appears to be cosmetic if the system boots to WIndows and there are no display issues using the system. Some systems I've seen have a bit of video distortion between the BIOS splash screen and the desktop. A couple things may change that. Update the system BIOS and the video driver to the most current available
SOURCE: LIGHT BLUE VERTICAL LINE ON MONITOR
The vertical line is a bad pixel sensor at the edge of the screen, your screen has hundreds of vertical and horizonal pixel sensors. This is an indicator that the screen is going out and need replacing.

Reinstall your VGA driver and i assume, it should be fixed if not you need to think about *********** board.
thanks
SOURCE: The display color is off. Red in the black and blue in the white.
go to http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Download the latest driver version and try that. Vista has a funky hibernation problem.

Asides from purchasing and installing a new LCD screen you could try reseating the connectors.
