You will need a amplifer (i would suggest atlest a 1000w amp) and you will need to wire positive on the speaker(+) to the positive on the amp, same for the negative(-)

Could i wire my audiobahn Eternal subwoofers to my surround sound system?

is your subwoofer self amplified? if it has, you can connect it through audio sub output and in put to your self amplified subwoofer.. if it is not self amplified, you can still connect it but be sure it ca drive your subwoofer, it depends on RMS or watts of the original sub of the srround..or you can have a seperate amplifier only for your subwoofer. I am trying to instail my audiobahn amp and dont know how.

you can go to crutchfield.com and they will show you step by step but all you need is a long enough power wire from your battery but make sure you have a inline fuse about 12" off the battery. run a remote wire off of your head unit to the back of car, make sure you have a good ground bout 3' wire that's about it then run your wires for your speakers

I dont know which wires go where on the back of my sub woofer. its an audiobahn aw1251t woofer, 400 watts

I used to have exactly the same subwoofer. It has dual voice coils which are driven independently.
Hope the diagrams help out. Just make sure you know how many ohms your amp is.

Wierd stopped working audiobahn a2300hct

Disconnect all speaker wires from the speaker terminals of the amp and disconnect signal cables from the amp. If it powers up normally, the wiring and speakers need to be checked. If it still shuts down, the amp likely has blown output transistors.

HELP

hi there, do you have an amplifier to hook it upto mate? if you do its best to go into your local halfords etc and ask for a wiring kit for you car audio, or search on ebay, theyre normally around 20pounds. then it will come with instructions on where certain wires go etc, the 8 outputs are probably so you can connect two subs together. they should have a pos and neg on them somewhere. if you dont have an amp you probably need to buy one. if you have any further queries just ask mate
