My MFC 5890 cn Brothers printer paper keeps getting jamed and won

The obvious cause of brother printer saying its offline is because it is not set as the default printer on your computer. You can easily change the status of Brother MFC 5890 CN printer offline to online. Under the devices section in your computer check, if it is listed as devices. You must re install the driver from the website. In case, you need to use the Brother Printer offline. Right click on the icon of Brother Printer machine. Then, see what's printing and change it to offline.

Check for remaining ( small peace) jammed paper inside.

try cleaning the paper feed roller with isopropal alcahol

If you go to brothers website you should be able to order a new one from them for about $10 USD plus S+H or so

the restriction of paper weight is 220g (see www.brother.com too)

You are better up by useing photo paper no thicker than 200g

You can try searching the web for the driver for that machine or call Brother directly at 1-800-284-4357 and order another cd
