Can not open multimedia files

It seems that the programmes installed in the mobile have been deleted. I can not view pictures, video files and can not listen to MP3 files. In all of these files I receive a message unsupported files. I can see the files installed there but I can not do anything for it.

How do you open attachments in emails and messages

If you want to open attachments with a click or double click (tap or double tap) you need to have the program on the device (your android tablet) that makes it possible to open it, so you can read it. In the manual, it will tell you how to install a program to open a PDF file. But also if you want to view a jpg or other picture, you need a program that enables the viewing of the specific file. Some tablets already have some of these programmes installed, but if it does not open certain files (attachments) you should at least see from the file extension, what kind of file it is. Then you can search for the appropriate app, that can open the file. Once installed, it will open all files with that extension. That is, if the extension is correct for that file.

Cannot see pc MOV or JPG files on flash drive in Canon SX230

Thanks very much for responding to my problem.
It seems Canon will not allow edited pictures or video to transfer from PC to their digital cameras for viewing.
steps to my problem:1. my canon SX230 created all the parts for my WMV video in MOV format originally.
2. created a movie (WMV format) in Windows Live Movie Maker. Works well and plays on my PC (windows 7).
3. after WMV completed - converted to HD MOV format in 2 different file convert programs and with 2 different HD MOV resolution settings on Both programs. WMV resolution is 1920x1080 (HD). ALL 4 MOV videos play well on my PC in 2 different programs.

Steps getting Canon to see video in playback mode.1. copy MOV video from PC to Flash drive in my card reader in same folder as my original JPG & MOV files, then inserted into camera - does not recognize file.
2. copy MOV file from PC to camera with USB cable. Windows error message. Wrong format - would not copy.
3. Formatted flash drive in camera. Took picture to create DCIM folder, JPG image, and CANONMSC folder with M0104.CTG file .Deleted CANONMSC folder. Copied my MOV video from PC to camera (USB cable). this time copy successful. However camera does nor recognize file.
5. tried again except deleted M0104.CTG file but not the CANONMSC folder. no luck.
It seems Canon will not recognize any file that has not originated in the camera AND has not been altered. Upon researching answers on the NET - many other users of Canon cameras have the same problem with no luck.

I recieved a CD with my xrays on it from a doctor and when i put it in my computer it opens up as if i can view the pictures. A box will come up saying to install/run program or open folder to view files....

i think you will need to create a folder in my pictures then copy the files into this and then you should be able to see them ,failing which download VLC player as this great programme will also display difficult to open or funny files that media or fax viewer cannot or will not do without paying for a programme

"jar file is over max size" show, when install

It seems that the programm you try to install is to big for your mobile. Try to free some space on your phone but if it still doesn't work it must be because your mobile simply can't handle such a big programm.

If you have the Samsung i8510, the updated version (7.7.2.20.9) is available to download from http://uk.samsungmobile.com/supports...510&sw_type=SW

Note: If the installer fails or seems to be taking a long time (more than 5 minutes without doing anything) then uninstall ALL Samsung PC Suite components, including the CDMA drivers; then restart your computer and re-run the new installer.

Recovering pictures from memory card

Try photo recovery software to rescue the lost pictures, here are some you may rely on. Both programs can also recover videos and music.

Photo Recovery Software (for Windows)
Mac Photo Recovery Software (for Mac OS X)

Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the memory card(digital camera) in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

Oploading video

you need to know where the default folder is that your camera transfers pics and video to, on your pc, it could be a folder named as the date you transfered or Kodak or simply transfers automatically to my pictures or my video, so connect the camera again and see where it is transfering them to. If you mean you cannot open the file, then you may not have the required software to do it, so when you find the file, right click on it and then select 'Open With' and then in the next option line will be any programme you have installed to view videos. If when you right click and then there is no available programme, click browse instead and then look on your c:/ drive and then programme files and look for similair programmes to windows media player or quicktime, the select the option 'Always open files of this type using this programme'
