Not working with windows vista

Have veo stingray, 301vb21xo17262 is the serila number.says not compatible with windows vista.Do i need to update drivers or anything like that.Let me know.

1st You download Webcam Driver.

Veo Stingray

After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

That means it wont work with vista at all look up what compatible means and go buy a cam that will work with vista they will say on the cam box if they work on vista or not my friend just went through this and there is no drivers at this time for vista

Need Vista driver for Veo Stingray

Just as a matter of interest see what happens when you test your webcam here - hit "allow" in top window and see if your webcam fires up in the left hand window

This is a long shot but may be worth a try.
There is no Vista driver I could find - you can try to run it in compatibility mode whichever your old system was

Don't run the program but save it.
Browse to that directory, right click on setup, properties, compatibility, set it to your choice or xp sp2 compat. close the properties. Install.

Veo stingray 330 drivers for windows vista

Veo stingray 330 is not Vista compatible, it will work fine on Windows XP.

Here the drivers download page, there is no driver for Vista, but at least you can use the camera on a different system with XP, in case you want to sell it or give it to a friend.

I have a veo stingray web cam and i need to know if it is compatable with vista

veo stingray cameras are not compatible with vista in most cases.
In such case you'll have to install drivers for vista which is not easy to get.

go to compatibility tab in properties of the setup and check the box saying that the driver used to work in windows XP... after that right click and give run as administrator..

Not working with windows vista

Normal 0 You need to go to the manufactures site and download the VISTA driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install the program.

Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
