Re: can't download to pc
Check your manual on how to transfer images. or if the camera has also a media card - how to trans fer to card. Plugging in the camra to the computer and Windows should see it with out and out side help.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.
Hi there, NPS is samsungs pc studio which you can download from samsung fun club page. You should have had a cd with your phone with it on. Or you can download NPS here: SAMSUNG New PC Studio,PC Sync (ver.1.0)
Additionally: You can also connect your phone to the pc and select mass storage instead of pc studio when prompted. You can then drag and drop music/videos/pics direct to your phone without bothering to download nps. But with nps you can store your contacts/messages/pics and vids on your pc.
Go here:

as mass storage.(After you installed the driver and your PC detects
your phone as a removable mass storage device)
Make sure the camera is on and pc is selected on the camera screen when connected to the computer. You will need to have PC highlighted and select ok on the camera as this starts the camera and computer to communicate. Once communication established the LCD screen of the camera goes dark and the computer should generate a removable disk drive. Check the System Tray (lower right corner beside the PC time) for Safely Remove Hardware. When you click on it, it should read "Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device Drive ?:" If you dont see that, then check the Device Manager to see if the camera is recognized as USB Mass Storage Device. The camera uses the driver usbstor.
If ur aim is to transfer pics from camera to pc then may be u should give mass storage option a try, simple and requires no cd.....in xp ur camera memory will be automatically detected. But for this the mass storage option should be selected in d camera. you'll find it here In Menu=>Setup=>Interface=>USB, select mass storage. connect to ur pc and ur done. Hope it helps......good luck.
you don't need to format, just look for an option in your camera to switch between PTP mode and mass storage mode. Try either mode to see which one let you download the pics
Make sure the camera is on and STORAGE is selected on the camera screen when connected to the computer. You will need to have STORAGE highlighted and select OK on the camera as this starts the camera and computer to communicate. Once communication established the LCD screen of the camera goes dark and the computer should generate a removable disk drive.
