The key was left on for 24 hours, now battery not charging but also, truck won't go over 20mph, brake lights and turn signal lights not working. Battery is good
If you left your key on, and not in the "accessory" position you may have ruined your coil! if your key is turned on, it is charged with alot of electricity.

I am currently have the alarm going off on my 06 Tundra 7 and tried the recommendation above but didn't get rid of problem. I don't have keyless remote. There is a red light button on lower left of steering wheel & button underneath the dashboard under the steering column. Has anyone had a problem like mine that can give me specific instructions that will work for my. 2006 Tundra
Yes I went nuts with the dead battery problem till I found TSB_EL015-03. Seems the frist half of the production year 2003 Tundra has a problem with the tow package relay being left energized if you leave the lights in the daytime running position so that they turn off by opening the door, it will run the battery down. Toyota knows this, won't do a recall, but there is a kit you can get that is listed in the Technical Service Bulletin EL015-3. When it tell you to use a special tool to remove a pin from the large connector (red) don't bother, you will never get it out. Just cut the red wire and use a crimp tool to splice it to the kit's wire. There is no room to work it, just cut it and splice it. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/123-truck-archive/74107-2003-battery-draining.html
push trip odometer button so that the mileage is displayed. hold in trip odometer button, keep holding in while turning key on, keep holding until you see the dashes on the display count down and disappear. the oil change light is now reset.
was the battery fully charged before installing it ? if it ran good before you installed the battery then it has to be your new battery at fault ?? unless i missed something here .. did you clean all posts inside the battery cables ? holler if you need more
