You can download the manual from the link below:
Try initialising the camera back to the factory settings. This is on Page 21 of the manual.

5 megapixels or more. In general, unless you're really tight on space or know you're not going to need the resolution, set your camera to its highest resolution (8 megapixels in your case) and leave it there. You can always make a large picture smaller; you can't make a small picture larger. See page 13 of the Cyber-shot handbook: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/DSCT70_handbook.pdf
put your camera mode in t "P" setting then go to menu & you should see color or pictue options to switch the color back to color....i have a cybershot dsc-w55 idk what u have but try that .... GOOD LUCK !
it seems like CCD failure to me bcoz if everything is working and u get black pics it sounds like this , pls go for warranty claim if u have one otherwise contact support centre in ur area they will replace the CCD for a charge , i am not sure abt the price pls rate me even i was unable to solve ur problem remotely bcoz it is a hardware failure which nobody can help but i am pretty sure about it regards
what do you mean nothing happens???
the memory stick pro duo should fit right into the sony cybershot....
if your struggling to load your photos onto your computer buy a universal memory card reader!
you should try and use a memory stick in a camera that needs an sd though!
no non of sony cameras come with any life pan
ya they are telling something baout life cycle
but i have cybershot with 29000 pic and my friend is having about 20000 so if your cameras is in warrenty period then go to sony service station they will fix it
or if you r out of warranty period then go for repairing your camera probebly changing CCD of your camera will fix this problem
Sony Cybershot works on technology of where is checks the srround light, if light is fine (like in Sun or outside) phots are fine. solution to this either replace flash or put some big light on while taking photos
