Connect both speaker outputs from you amplifier to the left and right inputs on your sub woofer. Connect your normal speakers to these connections on the sub woofer.
It sounds like you have switched off the sub channel.
Keeping pressing C Level on the remote till you see SWFR.
Press D l / h to adjust the speaker output
level.
You can reset the settings to factory defaults via the Advanced menu - it should be in your manual (I have RX-V465). Do it from the standby mode. Press the STANDBY button on front panel (not remote) together with STRAIGHT button on the front panel. Now you are in the Advanced Setup. Scroll to the INIT menu and select ALL. Now you will have all settings in the default.
your main lead wire contains only two core, could be brown, black, anyway..open the cover of the unit, and change the cord, get three core main wire, and take the old one off, replace the other one, which should have earth, you can screw it to the transfomer base, try this
im not sure about reconing,most expiriences ive had turned out not to good however partsexpressusa has replacement speakers and i think they also have recone kits as well. if i may make a suggestion dayton audio makes a really good sub if your in the market for a replacement.-z
Most amplified sub woofers need to be grounded to the output source.If you plug the sub woofer in to the receiver you would use a ground wire from the receiver to the sub woofer there should be a ground terminal on the sub woofer and receiver.
