Error code FFA-8-000D

I get this message when I attempt to play a video clip. "Playback failed. The audio system does not seem to respond. Maybe card does not support full duplex mode."

This has been happening since I did a system restore on my windows vista laptop. I had to reinstall my Adobe premier elements 3 and thats when the problem started. It worked before I did the system restore. Does it matter that it says Windows XP on the installation disc?

I am also getting this error code...it has been extremely aggravating trying to work in premiere CS3. I had an additional monitor hooked up to my laptop to give me more video editing real estate. I also had a pair of earphones plugged in while using the dual monitors. Once I detached the monitor and adjusted my display settings, this error message started popping up. Please help

Are blu ray stops payling in the middle of movies for no apparent reason

One of the possible reasons is that your Blu-ray player is unable to read the disc. Check to make sure the inserted disc is clean and not scratched on the playing side. If so clean the surface of the disc or use an alternative Blu-ray disc to verify. ... Only Region B Blu-ray discs and Region 4 DVDs are compatible.11 Oct 2017

Slow playback after recording.

Quality is definitely a factor here. Set tape speed to SP. Standard Play. It uses the most tape, and use a newer tape if possible.

You can also try converting to a newer format like MP4. This is the new standard for web videos. Older codecs might be an issue.

Can't play back videos on my experna; memory card Sandisk class 4 8Gb. Have a canon Vixia HFR10 camcorder

Okay, ours is a different brand (JVC) but they may have some basic similarities in function. To playback video clips stored on the memory card, put the memory card in the card reader slot of the computer and put the files onto the computer. Playback the clips from your computer video or photo file. (Ours won't playback video stored on the memory card through the camera.)

To playback video clips stored on the camera hard drive through the camera, we open the viewer screen, look at the function keys on the camera body, select the "Play" button. On the screen it displays thumbnails of the various video clips. We use the toggle/function key to select from the menu containing options for playback, edit, delete, protect, etc.

How do i play whats on the memory card nothing plays video only audio. or what do i need to convert it

First, make sure you have it on CARD (and not DISK), and on the "playback" (and not record) mode. Next, does the camera play back other video clips normally, but just not a specific clip ?
Does the selected video clip frame (index) shown on the LCD screen have a picture ? If not, i.e. it is blank (dark), then it is likely that no video was recorded (i.e. just the audio) when you were shooting that video clip.
If there is a picture (of the video clip frame index on the LCD screen) and only audio is playing, try downloading the clip (from the SD card) to your computer, or simply try to play the video on the SD card (inserted directly into your SD card reader on your computer, or via a USB SD card reader) and see if the video clip will play normally on your computer.

Playback on camcorder

Hi,

Have you tried to play the video files through your PC?

With the SD card inserted into a card reader, i woul dsuggest you right click on the '?' files and click 'properties' and look for the file type as it has obviously changed.

When you find the file type, you will need to download the appropriate software to view it.

I know that VLC media player (google it, free software) id an excellent media player and supports many formats.

I hope this helps a little.

I'm am trying to play age of mythology and after the movie ends, error appears and states "initialization failed".

Initialization failed

This means that the game is attempting to initialize hardware such as the video card but has failed

This can be caused by a number of factors.

1. Your hardware does not meet the games hardware requirements
2. Your hardware requires farther configuration to run the game properly

if you are certan that the game supports your hardware you may need to perform
some extra steps to get your game working

"Failed to initialize" is an incomplete error message because it does not tell you what exactly failed
a more complete error message would read "Failed to initialize the video subsystem" and then it would give an error code such as Error Code xxx telling you exactly what error code to look up
to determine what exactly failed.

Most of the time when a game says ( failed to initialize ) that means a video issue
this may mean missing files or wrong versions of files or incompatable hardware.
