Not working I had a flood in my cellar and the water was about half way up the electronics and compressor. The circuit tripped, and i drained the water in the cellar. After letting it sit still for a few days, i decided to plug it back in. The receptacle it is plugged into is a gfci, everything comes on, the water runs, and after the machine runs for about 2 minutes, it trips the gfci. I have plugged other things in and it doesn't trip. What do you think is wrong with this machine?

here are what the numbers mean. 5 is probably throwing the others but you'll need a service tech to know for sure.
have you unplugged/cut off power to it for 10 min to see if it may possibly reset? Worth a try anyway.

Admiral electric dryer: This began after some basement flooding but I am pretty sure no water got into the dryer. I start a load and it trips the circuit breaker after about 20 minutes. I wait a little and...

look to the connections at the wall. Rust or corrosion from flooded water may have caused something to create resistance, which is what trips circuit breakers.

Circuit breaker trips after water supply cycle

check the condensor fan in the compressor area and make sure its running if not the compressor will overheat causing high head pressures on the compressor causing it to draw too much current to operate the compressor and kick the breaker out, also make sure the condenser coils there are clean and it has ample air movement away from the wall

Our fisher and paykel dishdrawer won't wash. It comes up with F1 and flashing light on control panel.

the dynamo dishwashing stuff has caused foaming which reached the base of the dishdrawer unit causing the flood switch to trip. This gives F1 error.
Not sure how much foaming has occured.

Best to turn off power and take power cable out from socket. then empty the drawer using towels. pull out the bottom drawer and wait a day or so to let the foam disappear from the bottom of dishwasher (under the bottom drawer). Connect the power and see if F1 had gone. If not, you need more work. Post a comment based on the above suggestion and I will guide you further if required. Always use Finish dishwasher power only (recommended quantity) as the drawers are small and don't need much detergent.

I have a porter cale C5101 compressor. It hesitate to auto start when the pressure is low, always trip my circuit breaker.

What amp breaker do you have this hooked to. I would use no less than 15 amp ,preferrably a 20 amp. Next do you drain tank after use on a regular basis. If you don't moisture can build up inside tank and cause hard starting on automatic. If you need to drain tank there should be a drain valve on bottom of tank. try turning it counterclocwise with compressor off. If it dosen't turn that way try clockwise, air and moisture should drain. If you have alot of water in tank then shut valve and turn compressor on and bring to full pressure, then repeat draining procedure until no more water comes out. Hope this helps. Thank you

Dishwasher is reading "overfilling", but no water is in unit. Door can open, noise of motor or pump continues and will not shut off even with the Power switch. Only way to stop noise is to turn off the...

HI- The flood switch has been tripped. It is located under the unit and is not really accessible except by a Tech. The most likely cause it poor draining; if there is a little water left over from each part of the cycle then eventually the water will overfill into the pan under the dishwasher and trip the flood switch. Check the Air Gap on your sink for blockage if you have one and check the dishwasher filter inside the unit. You can just let it sit for a few days or a week and the water in the pan will eventually evaporate and the switch will remedy itself, or you can call a Tech and have them dry it out and check the drain function. Hope this helps, good luck.
