Please say why this was not helpful for you. Were you unable to get the manual? Do you have a different model. How can I help you solve this?
Best regards,
Informatica.
Here are the instructions to record a message:
Recording Your Announcement
1. Press and hold the OGM/REC button for one second.
Release the button when you hear a beep.
The MESSAGES display begins timing your outgoing announcement. You have 15 seconds in which
to record your announcement.
2. Speak toward the base in a normal tone of voice.
3. When you have finished your announcement, press the OGM/REC button again.
4. Your announcement will be played back automatically.

Please check the following:
When the system answers a call, the caller will hear the announcement you recorded, followed by a beep.
After the beep, the system begins recording your caller?s message; it stops recording when the caller hangs
up or when the caller is silent for more than seven seconds if you have set the REC TIME to ?VOX?. The
maximum message length is three minutes.
To conserve space on the tape you may limit messages to a maximum of one minute by setting REC TIME
to ?1 MIN?. The current day and time will be recorded after every message.
Announce Only
You may set your system so that it plays your announcement, but does not record messages. This feature is
often used by business such as movie theaters and doctors? offices.
1. Set the REC TIME (announce only) switch to ANS ONLY.
2. Change your announcement if necessary.
Example: ?Hello. You?ve reached 555-1234. We?re sorry we missed your call, but if you call on
Monday between 9 AM and 5 PM, someone will be glad to speak with you. Thank you.?
NOTE: If you want your system to record incoming messages, please ensure REC TIME switch
is set to either VOX or 1 MIN.
