Epson C9100 I need the code to reset the fuser section! the fuser has been replaced, but the prinetr does not recognise this...do i need a code???

Press and hold the four directional buttons as you turn on the power. Keep them held until the panel shows MAINTENANCE MODE. From here you will see the menu entry to reset the fuser counter

Hi, On another model Epson Aculaser C2000, I was able to reset the fuser oil roll by doing a RESET ALL, which of course set the printer back to default values. In my model the reset all command is activated by pressing RESET + ALT together for at least 5 seconds or until the LCD display shows "Reset All". Am not sure if it will work for your model and I leave it to you to give it a try. Good luck and kind regards.

Fs1020 has aproblem code e0001

A E0001is a fuser error code. You may have had a power surge and the copier got confussed and coded out. You will need to reset the error code in service mode. If it can not be cleared, you may have a problem with the fuser unit

C 3821

Hi geosegr,

Can you confirm the code is C-3821.
Because it's not one that I recognise.
There are only two C-38xx codes, they are C-3851 and C-3852.
Both of these codes relate to the fusing section.
If it were me, I'd have a look in the fuser area to make sure there is no paper stuck. Then you'll need to reset the code. To do this,
Turn OFF the Main Power Switch.
Turn Main Power Switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key.
Touch [Trouble Reset].
Check to make sure that [OK] is displayed and the it has been reset.
After turning off the Main Power Switch, turn it on again more than 10 seconds after and check if the machine starts correctly.
If the fault code reappears, you'll need to get an engineer to look at it.

Is it possible for me to replace the fuser unit in my 2400W laster printer myself?

yes open the prinetr carry fully

find the fuser unit & replace the older once.

reconncet the printer

then start your work

RESET TONER C9100

The waste toner cartridge has a transparent extrusion on the bottom, which fills with toner when the cartridge is full, but also if it is half full and shaken so that toner falls into this extrusion. If this happens, the only way to remove the toner is to open the cartridge by removing the tape, taking the two halves apart and shaking/blowing/hoovering it empty. You can stick them together again with ordinary sellotape.
