How do I find the model number on belling synergie oven?

The element has broken but I can't order another without the model number. We've lost the instructions and the sticker that usually shows this info on the inside of the door has worn off. The only writing on the actual oven is -SYNERGIE-. Any ideas?

I have similar oven, but double called Synergie Multifunction. Number label obscured because we haven't cleaned it enough! Lost the manual but now need to know what I'm allowed to use to clean it -- inside. Remember something about delicate oven walls, or was it the back, or the top? Oven works well enough after 5 years.

I have the same problem. I have inherited a Belling Synergie multifunction double oven. The Model No is worn out - yet there is a specification 492SS which isn't. I am going to purchase the element with this number and hope this works.

On bake only the bottom element is working

Usually on bake only the bottom element is used. Without a make and model number the only thing I could suggest is that the icon is confusing.

Kenmore electric range model 911.95875790, no heat to either baking and broiler elements.

Hello. I looked carefully at the service manual for your unit--surprisingly, there is no thermal switch inline with the bake/broil elements. Usually, if the bake or broil elements pop, this blows out the thermal switch, killing power to the elements for safety. The main control board can get damaged due to the high current draw during a short-circuit. The part number for the main board is WB27T10008. The overlay(the decorative sticker with the button/names on it) numbers are as follows: almond WB27T10022, black WB27T10023, and white WB27T10021. I hope this helps you!

Where do I get a fan element from?

You don't say what oven it is but if you go online to ebay or type in your make and model then a number of appliance sellers will pop up and search through them. Its not a major job to change the element, make sure the cooker is isolated at the main switch. Someone with basic DIY skills and a modest toolkit should do it no problem. You will need the machine data off a sticker that's usually on the back of the machine. Make sure the replacement matches the current one exactly. You will find that element may fit a range of ovens, check the machine serial numbers carefully. If you have the original purchase paperwork there is usually a panel in the back with duplicate numbers so look there first.

How do you replace the fan oven element

Assuming you have bought your element then in most ovens this is a straight forward procedure to remove old and replace by new. Find the make and model number of your oven and google for the manual usually a number of Phillips screws hold it in and two pronged plug provides the power. New element will give you a clue to the type of connector.Hope this helps but without knowing the model it is difficult to be more specific.

I have the serial number 06 1 00049 but need to clarify the model number which I dont have, in order to buy a part. I think it might be XOU493 after searching on Google

The model number is often located on a plate or sticker which is on the front of the oven chasis, usually running along an edge of an oven door.

If this is not visible or worn away, the manufacturer often has another sticker or plate either on the side or back of the oven. If it is a built in oven, you will need to undo the 4 or 6 screws holding the unit into the cabinet housing and then carefully pull it out. This task is best done with 2 people and a workmate or table to slide the oven onto.

My kenwood CKB200 oven tripped my mains circuit. When I put the power back on the Oven did not heat up as well as before. I am assuming that one of the elements has gone. There is less heat at the bottom...

ISOLATE THE MAINS POWER BEFORE OPENING ANY PANEL ON YOUR APPLIANCE
There are sometimes up to three heating elements in simular types of ovens.
A Visual inspection is required to accertain which is the element not working, remove rear panel, there is odd types that have the element to the side of the fan assisted oven, have a good look when panels removed. The blow element usually has a blow out hole with Black Gray at the point it will feel rough not smooth like the rest of the element case, the second way is a bulge on the surface skin, it should be easy to identify. Part could be obtained through www.whitegoods.co.uk you will need the model and serial numbers. Some models you have to remove the fan or fans if twin, some models have top fan usually no element in the top except grill.
Hope this has been helpful please send me info if more tech is required.

Heating element is broken - lower (baking) element. What part do I need and is this user-serviceable?

With the model number you can order a new element from repairclinic.com

You can remove it by pulling the oven out from the wall, unplugging it, removing the rear panel, and then disconnecting the element and swapping it out. Fairly simple for anyone with patience.

Let me know how this works out for you.

Bottom element the clip that slide onto the spade broke off.

Since the element gets extremely hot when in operation, you need clips that are very heat resistant, which can be obtained from the Original Equipment Manufacturer. As far as the model number, it usually a plate that the on the surface that the oven door contacts. If you provide the model number, an owner's manual can be obtained.
